Privacy Notice
How Hoshiyomi handles account, birth-profile, conversation, report, and measurement data.
Service provider and controller
Hoshiyomi (星詠み) is developed and provided by トランスエヌ株式会社, 2-3-10 Mukogaoka, Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo 113-0023, Japan. This operator is responsible for personal information handled through the service.
Data we process
To calculate a chart we process the birth date, time, place, coordinates, time zone, and optional sex entered by you. If you create an account, saved profiles, email, nickname, login sessions, profile-bound conversations, orders, and generated reports are associated with that account.
Purpose and storage
Birth information is used to calculate and generate the requested chart, conversation replies, and report. Saved profiles, conversations, and reports remain available until you delete them, delete the bound profile, or close the account. Operational security logs are kept only as needed to diagnose abuse and delivery failures.
Chat document attachments
On the website you may upload supporting documents to a saved conversation. We privately store the original file, extracted page text, a normalized visual copy when needed, and the model's visual description. These materials are sent only to the configured OpenAI model needed to analyze and answer from them; they are never sent to advertising or public-share services. Sent files remain with the conversation. Unsent files expire after 24 hours. Deleting the conversation, its bound profile, or the account deletes the attachment data.
LINE linking and LINE Mini App
When you link an account or use the LINE Mini App, we process the LINE user identifier, linking status, preferred language, and the information needed to authenticate and provide the requested feature. This transfer occurs when you open the Mini App, link accounts, or request a LINE notice. LINEヤフー株式会社 provides the LINE platform. Hoshiyomi does not read your LINE conversations, friends, or groups.
Compatibility comparisons
On the website, signed-in users may compare two saved profiles. The deterministic score and its evidence are calculated in the browser and kept only for the current session. If you separately request an AI interpretation, the two profile display names, scores, and bounded structured evidence are sent for AI processing; birth dates, times, places, coordinates, and profile identifiers are not included.
AI processing and recipients
When you request AI generation, conversation questions, recent context, the bound chart, compatibility evidence described above, and—only outside the LINE free experience—relevant excerpts from a completed paid report may be sent to the configured model provider. Depending on the configured model, that recipient is OpenAI, L.L.C. or Anthropic PBC; a self-hosted model stays on infrastructure controlled by トランスエヌ株式会社. Hoshiyomi stores conversations on its own server for cross-device continuity.
Payments and measurement recipients
Stripe, Inc. processes payment details only when you separately use a paid service on the website. When configured and allowed by your privacy choice, Google LLC and Meta Platforms, Inc. receive limited measurement events when a page loads or an eligible event occurs. Birth and chart data is not sent to payment or advertising platforms except where strictly required to fulfil the transaction.
Account closure
Closing an account deletes account-linked birth profiles, conversations, login sessions, public shares created while signed in, and birth-derived report files. Minimal de-identified transaction records may be retained where the law requires them.
First-party measurement, analytics, and advertising
We keep minimal first-party funnel events, privacy settings, and campaign/click identifiers for aggregate measurement for up to 90 days. Event paths exclude query strings; raw IP addresses, user-agent strings, share deletion tokens, birth data, and chart content are not stored in this event dataset. Google/Meta analytics and advertising tags remain disabled until you choose an optional setting. You can change or withdraw that choice at any time from Privacy choices in the footer. We do not send birth date, birth time, place, coordinates, sex, chart text, username, raw email, or profile identifiers to Google or Meta.
Public sharing
Anonymous share cards contain only the summary that you confirm. They do not contain birth date, time, place, coordinates, time zone, or sex. You can revoke a share link from the device that created it or by closing the signed-in account that owns it.
Your choices
You can change analytics and advertising settings from the footer, edit or delete saved profiles, and close the account from the account menu. A saved choice remains in effect on later visits. Do not use the paid service if you need seller/contact information that is not yet published.
